Come hear killer poems performed by famous poets from the world over, come to write new poems of your own, revise older poems and learn about performance. Every language and accent welcome. Facilitated by Logan Phillips and Maya Asher.

The slams on the 22nd and the 12th are both Youth Spotlight slams, which means that there is a $50 dollar prize for the top-scoring poet of 18 years or younger! If you’ve never been to a poetry slam, this is the time to come check one out! Bring three original poems, there’s a three minute time limit for each one.
